At BTL Precision, we strive to be the very best our industry has to offer. We are proud to be one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of bearings, power transmission, linkages, and sub-contract precision engineering components, and use our years of experience to constantly improve our performance in every aspect. Not only that, but we also produce a range of non-standard items in addition to our standard catalogue ranges, each designed and manufactured to suit individual customer requirements. In fact, around 50% of our total production is bespoke products made to custom specifications.

Where we Came From

With UK origins dating back more than 50 years we have established a reputation for high-quality products and service. Many of the world’s leading manufacturers in the automotive, agricultural, construction, industrial, medical and motorsport sectors rely on our products every single day. We have a passion for performance that is built into our company DNA, and we are continuously pushing boundaries and developing new, exciting technologies and products.

BTL Precision is incredibly proud to be part of the BTL-UK group founded 30 years ago, by managing director Ray Mifsud an apprenticeship served toolmaker working in the plastic injection moulding industry.

Now, more than 30 years later, the company has grown beyond Ray’s wildest dreams, and now holds a global reputation as one of Europe’s leading producers of bearings, transmissions and linkage products and sub-contract precision engineered services. The company now occupies 3 sites in the Southeast of the UK, occupying a combined area of over 100,000 square feet (over 9,200 square metres) of dedicated manufacturing, warehousing and administration facilities all having excellent transport links to Europe and beyond.

Our Commitment to our Future

We are not only conscious of our roots, but also of what the future may hold for us, and the world we inhabit. We are constantly investing in ways to improve our products and delivery, expanding, and upgrading our portfolio of production facilities and machinery on a global scale to further reduce our impact on the environment.

We use the latest in computer-controlled inventory management to track over 25,000-part numbers, covering 42 different product groups, most of which are held in stock and available for immediate dispatch. We have also invested heavily in the automation of customer ordering through our web shop, which is all supported by SAP Business One and Magento, to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience from start to finish.

On the manufacturing side, we use the latest production machinery to enhance our capabilities, improve our designs and help us provide a quality product that exceeds customer expectations every time. We have full technical and product support services available, we work closely with our customers to overcome application difficulties, including issues that require the custom design, testing, PPAP samples and documentation of parts before serial production commences.
